Enrollment

You have the opportunity as a new employee and during the Annual Open Enrollment period to make your benefit selections under your Employer’s Plan. Once you make your benefit elections you cannot make changes to those elections until the next plan year unless you experience an eligible qualifying event (see Qualifying Life Events under the Employee Benefits tab).

You must make your Medical Insurance elections through the State Health ADP enrollment portal and your Non-Medical Benefit elections such as Dental, Vision, Life and Disability through your employer’s bSwift enrollment portal. Please print a copy of your final confirmation statements from both enrollment portals for your records.

The “Open Enrollment” period for making changes to your employee benefits will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, October 15th, 2024 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 8th, 2024.

If you are currently enrolled and do not go online and make an election you will be default enrolled in your current plan, coverage tier and tobacco status for the new plan year. If you are currently declined and you do not go online and make an election, you will remain as “declined”.

Non-Medical Benefits

You MUST re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)/Section 125 plan online as well as verify your information, make changes to your dental, vision, life, and disability coverage and update your beneficiaries for life insurance.

If you are currently enrolled in dental, vision, life and/or disability, and you do not go online your current coverage will roll-over for the new plan year and new premiums will be applied. However, this does NOT apply to the FSA. If you would like to enroll/participate in the FSA for the new plan year you MUST go online and elect the plan, otherwise you will not have the FSA coverage.
