If you are a NEW HIRE click New Hire Enrollment in the navigation bar above to make your benefit selections.  You have 30 days from your date of hire to complete your two step benefit enrollment process.

If you are a CURRENT employee with one of the Qualifying Life Events below, click Qualifying Life Events in the navigation bar above:
Qualifying Events include, but may not be limited to:

  • Birth, adoption of a child, or placement for adoption
  • Change in marital status (Marriage/Divorce)
  • Change in your spouse’s employment resulting in a gain or loss of coverage
  • Your spouse’s or dependent’s loss of eligibility for other group health coverage
  • Death of a spouse or dependent, only if the dependent is currently enrolled
  • Medicare/Medicaid eligibility.

After enrolling as a new employee, you have the opportunity to review your benefit choices each year during the Annual Open Enrollment period. During this time, you can make changes to your benefits for the following plan year. Please note, outside of the Annual Open Enrollment period, changes to your benefits during the year may only be allowed if you experience an eligible qualifying event such as marriage, divorce or birth of a child.

This year, we are using a new enrollment technology which you will be able to access the enrollment portal on your desktop, smart phone or tablet. Download the bswift Benefits app in the Apple or Google Play stores today. Look for the bswift symbol. Enter douglascounty as the company name and then enter your bswift user name and password.
